On the 8th Day of Christmas for Pets

On the 8th Day of Christmas my human gave to me…

8 litter boxes and a visit to the indoor cat initiative!

7 treat pouches,

6 pheromone diffusers,

5 hands free leashes,

4 Glow in the dark LED collars,

3 Da Bird Cat Toys,

2 chuck-its

and a puzzle bowl under the tree

Why a litter box you ask? Well, we see a lot of feline litter box issues. It is probably the number one reason cats are surrendered. Something that we can do to help is to improve the number of litter boxes available to them and the location they are in. You may think that this isn’t a very glamorous 12 days gift, but to a cat it is like having a newly renovated bathroom!

The indoor cat initiative is a website that was designed to create awareness and offer ideas to promote a stress free environment for our indoor feline friends.  It is a wonderful resource.   http://indoorpet.osu.edu
