Why 7 treat pouches? Well, they come with The Learn to Earn training program for my dog!!! This is a system of pet training developed by Dr. Sophia Yin, acclaimed behaviorist. It focuses on positive reinforcement, so the dog earns every piece of their kibble throughout the day for doing positive behaviors. If you haven’t heard of it, it is definitely worth looking into. Here at Oakview, we supply an abbreviated version at every first puppy visit. The book is called Teaching Fido to Learn to Earn and it is a great starting point for anyone with a new puppy or even to teach an old dog new tricks. The treat pouch comes in handy so that during the program you always have treats on hand. Fill it daily with their kibble or even a special food reward that keeps your pup coming back for more and looking for ways to impress you.
